LVN MAP Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026GPSLVN.IQ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the LVN MAP mobile application (“LVN MAP” or the “App”). This policy explains what information the App uses, when information may leave your device, why it is used, and the choices available to you. It applies to LVN MAP and does not replace the privacy policies of other GPSLVN.IQ products.

1. Information used by LVN MAP

Location and routes. With your device permission, LVN MAP uses your precise or approximate location to show your position, calculate routes, and provide navigation. If you enable background location access, the App may continue using location during active navigation. You can use parts of the App, including downloaded maps, without granting location permission, although location-based features will be limited.Searches and saved places. The App may store recent searches, favorites, saved places, and navigation preferences on your device so that you can find them again. You can clear search history and remove saved items in the App. If you use an online feature, the information needed for that request may be sent to the service providing it.Traffic and route comparison. When you choose the route-comparison feature, LVN MAP sends the selected route’s start and destination coordinates, your language preference, and technical information needed to complete the request to SerpApi. SerpApi processes the request using Google Maps Directions results and returns route estimates. This request is made when you use the feature; ordinary offline navigation does not require it. Your device’s IP address may be visible to SerpApi as part of the network connection. SerpApi’s privacy information applies to its processing.Optional accounts and synchronization. If you choose to sign in to OpenStreetMap or use an available iCloud synchronization feature, the information needed for that feature is processed by OpenStreetMap or Apple under their own privacy policies. These features are optional.Support requests. If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address, message, and any diagnostic details you choose to send. We use it to respond to your request.Technical connection data. When the App connects to an online service—for example, to download a map, obtain an update, or compare routes—the service may receive standard connection information such as your IP address, request time, and device or app information required to provide the service.

2. How we use information

We use information described in this policy to provide maps, search, routing, navigation, and requested online features; save your preferences; respond to support requests; maintain the App’s security and reliability; and comply with applicable legal obligations.We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your precise location for cross-app advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

3. Information stored on your device

Downloaded maps, search history, favorites, and some preferences may remain on your device. Offline map use and locally calculated routes can work without sending those activities to us. Information stored only on your device remains there until you delete it through the App, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App, subject to any backup or synchronization settings you have enabled.

4. Sharing with other services

We share only the information needed to provide a feature you request or a service you enable. This may include route coordinates sent to SerpApi for route comparison; requests to map-data or download services; and information sent to OpenStreetMap or Apple if you choose their account or synchronization features.Those providers may process information under their own policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the App, or our legal rights. We do not publish your precise location or search history for other users.

5. Permissions and your choices

You control location permissions through your device settings. You can deny or revoke location access, including background access, at any time. You can also clear recent searches, remove saved places, and avoid optional online features. Revoking a permission may limit the feature that depends on it.To ask about information held by us, request access or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern, contact business.care@gpslvn.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, to respond to a support request, or to meet a legal obligation. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible. Data stored locally can be removed using the App’s controls or by deleting the App. Data handled by an optional third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s retention and deletion rules.

7. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Online service providers may process information in countries other than your own; their privacy policies describe their processing practices.

8. Children

LVN MAP is a general-purpose mapping and navigation app and is not specifically designed for children. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use of location sharing and online features where appropriate. If you believe we hold a child’s personal information contrary to applicable requirements, contact us so we can review and address the request.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App’s features or data practices change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
